The NH05 / NH06 – A Compact Powerhouse with Seiko DNA
The heart of the current small-watch modding wave is the NH05 movement, produced by TMI (Time Module Inc.), a subsidiary of Seiko Instruments Inc. Though unbranded, the NH05 is essentially a Seiko movement, continuing a mechanical lineage that dates back over 40 years.
Its roots lie in the Seiko 4205 movement, used from 1981–1992 in models like the 4205-0155 diver. That calibre was followed by the 4206, then refined further into the 4207 and 4208 with added jewels and improved architecture.

26mm Datejust-Style Case – NH05 Compatible (New in 2025)
Ladies Seiko Mod – DateJust – The newest addition to the compact modding lineup is the 26mm Datejust-style case, compatible with the NH05 movement. This case brings the same elegant, classic proportions of vintage women’s watches from Rolex and Seiko—but now with full mechanical functionality, thanks to the NH05.

- Case: All-steel and plated variants available

💡 We’re currently awaiting parts for a 31mm AliExpress Datejust-style watch to create a clean, all-steel homage to the Rolex Ladies Datejust, using an NH05 and a custom mother-of-pearl Roman numeral dial (the stock dials in the low cost watches was too limited or diamond-studded).

Modder’s Note: Shot-Blasted Military Build Option
A shot-blasted version of the 31mm case is now available—ideal for military-style mods or stealth builds. The case and bracelet are fully blasted (no brushed or polished surfaces), offering a uniform, matte finish.
Bracelet options include Jubilee and President-style links, and the bezels available mimic the look of the Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, and even Explorer/Air-King models.
This setup is a great base for a minimalist field watch, vintage military homage, or low-profile tool build in a compact format.
🔹 33mm Cocktail-Style Case – NH35 Based

- Dial Size: 28.5–29mm (compatible with many OEM Seiko and AM dials)

This case isn’t NH05-based, but it’s an excellent small format with many dial and hand options—great for custom dressy builds or cocktail-style Ladies Seiko Mods. Be sure to pick up a bracelet with this watch as they are currently not sold separately.
